This still happens! People seek Jesus! They want to get close to Him in a quiet setting and listen to what He has to say. Senior adults, men, women, couples, singles, teens, children, pastors, musicians, teachers, leaders, deacons, families and even clowns all realize the importance of time out for instruction, inspiration and invigoration by the Savior.

Situated on more than 900 acres, the Georgia Baptist Conference Center provides fantastic recreational activities, including a 200 acre lake with fishing docks; rental canoes; nature trails; tennis and basketball courts; ping pong tables; an open field for soccer, football and softball; and excellent area golf.

Nestled amid the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, guests can enjoy local attractions and activities, including scenic waterfalls, historic landmarks, the Blue Ridge Mountains Parkway, white water rafting and tubing, mountain festivals and concerts, antique and outlet mall shopping and scenic Lake Hartwell.

Our facilities also include hotel services and amenities that are both traditional and unique, including a gift shop, snack shop, convenient vending areas, business center services and The Book Nook, a bookstore featuring Christian "best sellers."

The Georgia Baptist Conference Center provides southern cooking at its finest, all buffet-style in the lakeview dining hall.
